I decided back in September to join the Greenville Choral Union to sing Handel's Messiah once more. I haven't done this since I was apart of GC Choir and the first week I could tell how long it had been since I had sung any serious choral music.
Jon Posted this to facebook. and it's amazing. i didn't even know he was playing letterman. I need to keep up on things.
In any case. Beautiful, phenomenal film. To start with, the actors are incredible at both playing their parts believably and as well as vocally representing these Beatles tunes. The flow of the film was great as well. The songs fit so well into the story created.
Cinematography in this fill was... MINDBLOWING. From using really standard techniques like solarized film, to really crazy stuff with cutting out frames and timing wave crashes with other video overlay to music... Some of it was so crazy that you're just in awe. My favorite was probably w/Bono singing I Am the Walrus. The film during that act was insane. In any case, I am so glad we got to see it today. It was incredible.
I highly recommend this film. GO AND SEE IT. It's entirely worthwhile. One of the greatest movies experiences I have ever had. Even if you don't like The Beatles, you probably will after this film.
we made it back. at 3:30am.
so i'm back at work, designing a new "mini site" for our ccm and music business programs. hurrah. I'm already over glossy - I think. When I do my own site, it's not going to be as commercial. it's going to be clean and messy.
soon i'll have xp running in fusion.
it'd be nice to have a break. I'm really tired still. i wish it was a weekend. or a holiday.
i might be make a coupe of purchases - a gig of ram for my slowing powerbook. possibly Leopard on october 26.
the new radiohead album is great. buy it for at least $10. it's worth it. and they deserve money for what they've made.

hopefully I'll be moving to wordpress and a new URL soon. stay tuned.
yeah. apparently if it rains a little, they shut the airport down. and delay your flight by 3 or 4 hours. in october. it doesn't even look like it's raining.
maybe I'll stay up and watch heroes when we get home. that'd be good. and go to work late? maybe. yeah. i think so.
Chicago today. ummmmm. perhaps I'll give an update when I'm back.
One thing before I go: I am going to Chicago for a business meeting. We are eating pizza -- at California Pizza Kitchen. It's an atrocity. I'll take Giordano's over CPK anyday.
Who's the coolest culinary celebrity?
Jamie Oliver, obviously. He's British, he's a drummer... and he's awesome.
